about Anna

Behind wild being is Anna - a queer being with a longing to explore what it means to be human in these times in a community across species and how we remember ourselves home to belonging.

I am a curious human with a big feeling heart and a love for gathering people and creating spaces for connection - with ourselves, eachother and with the more-than-human.

Some of what makes me come most alive is to listen to and share stories where we get to meet new places within ourselves, to swim in the sea, to dance freely and to make lists.

land & waters

building relations to the places I dwell and work in and the beings of those places is an ongoing practice of mine, and my work would not exist without them. the sea has always been my big love, my home and my mentor. I have moved a lot around in my life and am deeply grateful for the rivers, mountains, deserts, seas, forests and rocky islands of different parts of the world that have shaped my own inner landscape. the last few years I have turned my curiosity towards the meadows, coastlines, burial mounds and small forests of Denmark where I grew up and live. it is a journey of finding the wild in the small, and it is doing me good.

practice

I work to explore the wilds within, and around us. this can look like gatherings around the fire, or in a circle, longer or shorter wanderings with a prompt, quests and/or quiet time sitting outside.

I am especially shaped by the practices of ways of council and those connected to rites of passage.

"the facilitation / spaceholding felt so inclusive and with a beautiful balance between firm and adaptive. I felt safe. being reminded that no specific land of experiences was right or wrong was important for me to hear."
